Dear Fam,

Are you resting in our great God who fights for us? He is not a spectator to our conflicts but a very present help in trouble. The LORD saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the LORD's. 1 Sam. 17:47; This is what the LORD says to you: “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.” 2 Chron. 20:15.

Have a child that's far from God? Here's good counsel on 12 ways to love your wayward child.

Camp Seven Rivers starts Monday. I love Camp Seven Rivers!

Did you know 50 high school students are headed to New Orleans on June 19 to serve and love that battered, broken and beautiful community?

Defending Jacob by William Landay—a gripping novel! Love the plot turns in this story.

This weekend, during Saturday night worship, we'll recognize Dale McCollough for his years of service to SRPC as an elder and SRCS as a school board member & chairman. Dale has been named an elder emeritus by the session of SRPC. During Sunday worship, we'll celebrate the sacrament of baptism! I'll preach on Judges 2-3:6 if you want to read ahead. Let's start the summer in worship together!

Love,
Ray
