Dear Friends,
We had a wedding! Our daughter Kristen was married on Saturday to Eric Stites. We are so grateful for God’s provision and our daughter’s joy. Here are some pictures…

• Thanks for praying for the marriage retreat I spoke at in St. Augustine. It was a powerful 3 days. It was great to be with many folks for whom the gospel was amazing, radical, brand-new, almost too good to be true and totally life altering. God showed up in some powerful ways!
• If you missed it, Jim Coffield preached last week on fathering. It was outstanding!
• Our Mexico mission team returned safe and (about 50%) sound. It was a great week, even with ¾ of the team battling gastro-intestinal trauma all week!
• The DR team has done it again. They have totally redone the locker rooms in the gym! Renovation begins on the gym shortly and by the fall we’ll have a reconditioned floor, permanent bleachers, four new baskets and a brand new look!
• On the weekend of June 26/27, we’ll have a congregational meeting following each worship service for the purpose of electing new church officers. Nominate for service on the session as elders are Paul Cash and Nathan Duncanson. Nominated for service on the diaconate are John Colasanti, Chris Nast, Mike Poloske, Steve Stack, Jason Steel, Mike Beaver and Roy Carr.
• This week more than any other of the year is given to personal reminiscing. Why?
June 11—My son Tucker was born 19 years ago
June 12—My daughter Kristen was married 4 days ago
June 13—My father’s birthday was 90 years ago
June 13—My brother Steve died 24 years ago
June 18—My son Tony was born 28 years ago
June 18—Diane and I moved to Citrus County to start SRPC 27 years ago
This week filled with powerful memories for me always ends with Father’s Day. A day I get to thank God for the dad he gave me, the calling he gave me (to be a dad) and the love He gives me as my Dad. Diane and I can’t believe we have been allowed to stay here so long and get to start our 28th year with you this weekend in worship.
Love,
Ray
