I need to ask you to pray. Adam and Anne Jones are in St. Louis with their daughter Sashi. On Friday morning, July 9, Sashi will have very extensive surgery to deal with physical issues related to her cerebral palsy. Surgeons will be cutting through both femurs, her right tibia and each of her hip bones. The surgery is scheduled to last for 4-6 hours. The recovery and subsequent therapy take 8-9 weeks with Sashi and Anne remaining in St. Louis for the duration. Adam will be there for the next number of weeks and then back and forth as need dictates. Will you pray for a successful surgery, for less pain than anticipated, for gospel hopefulness in the midst of brokenness, for Sam and Sarah (not to maim each other) in their parents' absence and especially for Anne as she experiences the anguish of watching her daughter being seriously wounded in the short term for long term physical gain. I'll update you on Sashika's progress next week.
