Dear Fam,

When I was a child, we would sing in church, “Count your many blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.” So here goes—I’m thankful for…

• My wife—isn’t she something!
• Two grandkids on the way
• Ted and Betty Santana
• The staff team I get to work with everyday—I love them!
• The outward focus of SRPC—loving our neighbors!
• Warren and Nancy Conner
• Sweet, sweet members who have gone to heaven this year
• Babies in our church
• Dana James and our SRCS faculty
• The way weekend worship nourishes me
• The pumpkin, praline cheesecake my wife is making right now
• Trunk or Treat
• Prodigals who have come home
• Older brothers who have seen their self-righteousness
• Deacons who serve and Elders who love
• Goldie Anderson
• New teammates—Adam and Teri Hill, Rebecca Lubatti, Chad and Alexandra Robison
• Baptisms
• Hunger Week
• King’s Bay, the Withlacoochee River, Florida sunsets
• Ken and Ruth Wackes
• MOPS and Teen MOPS
• Mike Wright’s testimony
• Blind Boys of Alabama
• Avocados, Blueberries and Pistachio nuts
• Charlie Wade
• Tom Huey and his merry maintenance team
• My kids’ spouses
• Nina Childs and her mother
• Golf
• A congregation that loves and prays for its preachers
• A God who loves to fill our lives with good things.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord for he is good, his mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 107.1) Take the time to make your own list this week. Happy Thanksgiving!

Love,
Ray
