Dear Family,

Hunger week is going so well. Did you know 212 families are altering their diets to educate themselves about the deep needs of our world, 240 families are shopping after church and 264 families are reading the devotional? I’m so proud of you guys! Last night, the soup kitchen was fun and informative—left me hungry for more!

This weekend, Saturday worship is at 5:00 pm and Sunday is at 10:00 am. After an abbreviated worship (50 minutes)—those who are able will head to Publix to shop for our community. When we’re loaded up we’ll head back to church with groceries to donate and have a simple lunch together!

• Do you know how challenging a job it is to be in student ministry? Take time to express gratitude to Josh Gilman—acting student ministry director and his team of Rachel Ebert, Kate Amesbury, and Ty Commons. I am grateful for the love and truth they are pouring into our teens.

• The aforementioned Kate Amesbury is raising money for her March wedding by selling pies for Thanksgiving or Christmas. If you need a dessert, why not buy it from Kate—weddings are expensive!

• Upcoming events
o Camp Christmas, December 10 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
o SRPC Concert, December 17 at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
o Christmas Eve Worship, 3:00, 5:00, 7:00 pm (no worship on December 25)

• This weekend we are starting an Advent sermon series on The Coming of the King. I’ll be preaching on Mark 1:35-45. Can’t wait to worship and shop with you!
