Thankful

Dear Fam,

This weekend is special to me. It was nine years ago on this weekend we held our first service in our sanctuary. The awe I felt then at what God had provided, I still feel when I drive on this campus. There is little I enjoy more in this life than watching this place fill up each weekend with people who are falling in love with Jesus. Our sanctuary was built and paid for by the sacrificial gifts of so many who dreamed that SRPC would continue to bless others as it had blessed them. Their wishes have come to pass as their gifts have paid dividends. Watch this video recollection of two recent testimonies at SRPC—two people recounting how God has used SRPC to bring real healing to them.

I am so thankful and frankly, amazed at the way God has provided for this ministry. As we come to the close of 2011, I want to ask you, unashamedly, to be sacrificial and generous in your giving to SRPC. Good end-of-the-year giving is like a slingshot that propels our ministry forward through Easter and on into the summer. I invite you to walk in the footsteps of those who have gone before you and invest generously and gladly in the mission of Seven Rivers Church.

Love,

Ray
